Agree, I think it will take time especially with the extent of the change and lateness of the additions. September hopefully gives a good opportunity to develop the patterns of play and tactical elements while integrating the new signings.
In the meantime though we need results, can't afford to fins ourselves too far behind the likes of Brum, Leicester, Southampton. The ones that are more likely to maintain their pace.

I agree with you that the first 3 games have been very disappointing, in terms of both performances & results. If we hadn't now brought in at least 3 more players, I would say it was time for McKenna to show he can get a return out of this squad. However, I now feel it might take a bit longer, although hopefully the new players will be upgrades on what we have. | |

Yes, these players should be ready to slot in; my fear is that McKenna will be too cautious with the new players & doesn't really know his best team as the first 3 performances indicate he didn't know his best team with the player we already had, or that some of those players weren't good enough. | |

Agree. Tomorrow is absolutely massive.
If we draw or lose we could potentially end up 10pts behind the top two, which even in August is material.
And as excited as I am at this week's signings, I think it's October at least before we see any patterns of play or new partnerships really gel.
