Baggott and Humphreys 12:09 - Sep 1 with 2643 views | PhilTWTD | Gather as it stands, no plans to send either out on loan, Baggott presumably Woolfy's replacement. Looks like Harry Clarke the other one to go out. No plans not to register Wes Burns. January recall clause in Barbrook deal.

Baggott and Humphreys on 12:29 - Sep 1 by PhilTWTD | Assume we just don't register him. Town have no plans for announcement, interview etc, so very much a development squad player. |
phil, if he's a development squad player, what does the obligation to buy mean? i assume it's if we get promoted, but then he wouldn't have had any effect on that promotion?

Not sure, you may be right. But may just be a loan to get it done today with lots of other stuff going on.

Baggott and Humphreys on 13:47 - Sep 1 with 216 views | darkhorse28 | Humphreys is such a good prospect, but he needs games, and he’s easily good enough for a lot of championship teams. It’s not doing us any favours in terms of his development. We are out of the cup, and he’s not getting minutes here, he’s going to go the way of Wolf, Burgess etc and end up leaving. He’s too good to just make up the numbers. It’s not as if we play a system where he fits in, he’s another 8 that we don’t play in our system, I know he can cover left back, but Young/Johnson will play there before he does. A season in the championship and he’d be a regular for us next season.., it’s going to hurt when he leaves and we look back at how few games he actually played for us. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Injuries have limited his involvement on loan, which has hampered his progress.

In place of who? Baggott will take Woolfenden's place as a seat warmer and Humphreys has four midfielders in front of him in the pecking order. They need game time; they're not getting it here.
