Humphreys is such a good prospect, but he needs games, and he’s easily good enough for a lot of championship teams.
It’s not doing us any favours in terms of his development.
We are out of the cup, and he’s not getting minutes here, he’s going to go the way of Wolf, Burgess etc and end up leaving.
He’s too good to just make up the numbers.
It’s not as if we play a system where he fits in, he’s another 8 that we don’t play in our system, I know he can cover left back, but Young/Johnson will play there before he does.
A season in the championship and he’d be a regular for us next season.., it’s going to hurt when he leaves and we look back at how few games he actually played for us. | | | |

In place of who? Baggott will take Woolfenden's place as a seat warmer and Humphreys has four midfielders in front of him in the pecking order. They need game time; they're not getting it here. | |
