They have got full value for their sales and have kept Fatawu, Monga, Mavididi, Page & Daka

We’ve spent a fortune and don’t look anywhere near good enough to get promoted.

KM has a lot of work to do in the next 10 days with the remaining 16 or so first team players

Gets crazier whenever I hear it.

Decision by end of the month apparently.

Looking solid. I think even if they get a deduction they could still be challenging.

They have kept most of the players that they wanted to, especially the youngsters Monga & Page plus Fatawu & Mavididi.

They had hoped to get rid of Skipp & Faes who are still on massive wages which is why they are still there.

They do look like a team though unlike us at the moment.

I just hope that “the process” works for us this season as we have spent a fortune on players

They are also selling El Khannous, so let's see at 7pm who is still there

And before we become overly negative about individual players, someone remind me when we decided we needed Julian Carranza?

Fatawu and Monga look great, but Mavididi looks half the player he was a couple of years back for some reason and not surprised he hasn't gone anywhere

I dont disagree that they are more coherent than us at the moment, but I would suggest that their plan looks less ambitious than ours, so am looking forward to our team bearing fruit over time - I do think the "ceiling is higher" (fingers crossed!)

Us signing him probably allowed them to keep Fatawu too

Is the bonkers part. My Leicester season ticket holder friend was astounded that we’d signed him and couldn’t believe the fee that we had agreed.

Well if they already have the players in an embargo isn't much,
10pts would be good it's Leicester I'd be surprised if more than 4,
But it should be,

Great approach from the authorities - enforce a transfer embargo once the transfer window closes.

Makes you wonder about their intentions.

So with this side that looks quite solid and the 10 points deduction they’re only just behind us! I

I didn't really agree, definitely looked disjointed every time I've seen them, and just been saved by Fatuwu. Whilst looking decidedly average to poor against Brum.

We let Ogbene out on loan (to rivals Sheffield Utd) in order to create a spot for McAteer to come in, for the princely sum of £11.5m, which went to another rival, Leicester City.
Are we (much) improved by having McAteer over Ogbene in that defence minded, attacking right wing role? Time will tell, but it was a lot of money to pay a clear promotion rival, with financial uncertainties, in any event.

Possibly. While we’ve self-imposed a similar sized gap to the top of the table in just 4 games. Gulp!

They will need time to GEL though. Or they would if they were here!
