amid all the angst over the departures can we just pause to say a massive thank you to the team that took us from mid table in league one to the top table.
Many of us, myself included, have spoken about how those players made us fall back in love with our team and represented so much that was good about Ipswich Town FC.
I never thought I'd so sad about players leaving but thats a testament to what they have given us
so Chappers, Morsy, Mass, Burge, Fridge, Broady, Wolfie, and lets not forget JD, Kayden, Vlad and anyone Id missed a very heartfelt THANK YOU!!!

Without fans' sentiment, there'd be very few football fans, esp in the lower leagues.
It's why we're passionately aligned to clubs for our entire lives through decades of thick & thin, & wouldn't dream of changing allegiances.
People these days are allowed to be more psychologically open than the rigid "Pull yourself up by your boot straps" 'stiff upper lip' philosophy of the 19th& 20thCs. | |
