I think Nunez may offer more in terms of solidity in that double pivot. Can see it being him and Azor....

I think so, he looked different class today.

What an insanely brilliant decision for a championship manager to have to make though. Our options going forward are absolutely crazy too.

Matusiwa is undroppable IMO.

Azor plays every game if fit, at this rate at least. Nunez and Cajuste wouldn't be anywhere near physical enough.

Also, controversial perhaps but I think Cajuste is a teeny weeny bit overrated at times. He's great to have obviously, but I want him to look after the ball a bit better at times, and make more of his surging runs and find a good forward pass.

He was unlucky not to have an assist today, put a beautiful ball through for McAteer.

But Matusiwa is the first name on the team sheet, what a player he is.

Can’t see it, we need the balance and Matusiwa has looked better with each game, he’s so effective in the middle. It’s an either / or next to him between Nunez & Cajuste and that’s fine, having the other to come on in games and manage their minutes will be vital.

I’m with you tbh. Cajuste’s frustrating at times, clearly has bags of ability but never quite seems to knit it all together into something resembling a complete performance. His highs are high but his lows are too low at times, needs to be a bit more Massimo at times in that drumbeat of consistent all round displays. Certainly has all the ingredients and I’m sure it’ll come, especially at this level. We’ll need all 3 of them over the course of the season so hopefully they can all stay fit and free from suspension.
