The only thing idiotic is your perception of the people taking part in this demonstration are all coked up racists, I'm sure a small minority probably fall within your perceived demagraphic. I know quite a few from West Cambs are taking part many of whom voted Labour at the last GE. And certainly not racist .

Sorry, but if you're partaking in an event organised by Tommy Ten Names and his cabal, you're guilty by association.

Sorry I disagree with you. Just because this Robinson bloke is organising it you don't have to agree with his political view point to take part in a demonstration that shares one concerns.

You are allowed to disagree. That’s all part of a society that is completely OK with free speech. Which we have. Which is why we don’t really need to protest to be allowed to have it.

I get where you're coming from, and am more than happy that we can take differing points of view. The way I see it, given that everyone and his dog knows that Tommy Ten Names stands for, is that by attending one of his marches, an attendee is happy for their attendance to be used by TTN as proof of support for his heinous views.

Do you have to be racist to not be happy with how people enter your country illegally?

There's a world of difference between wanting to have an open and honest discussion about illegal immigration, and the heinous BS that TTN espouses.

It’s all relative, 6 games in London today and Stephen Yaxley Lennon. It really should be possible to have a 3pm KO.

Poor language used by BBC news just now repeatedly saying everyone that attended the rally was a ‘Tommy Robinson supporter’ as you say, it’s not mutually exclusive.

the reality is it wouldnt though, because there are enough idiots supporting both teams thesedays, who'd likely get very over excited about the game and then do something very stupid, that the police then have to deal with. whereas when we play the game at the stupid time, the police get to report very few incidents happen, which to them is a success, and everyone goes home happy. and ultimately thats all that counts, as in the modern era of football, after Portsmouth our next home game at 3pm isnt until nearly the end of November against Wrexham 3pm Saturday is no longer the normal KO time, so stop clinging to the past.

But that's the problem. The marches are so inextricably linked with their organiser, that 100,000 attendees is seen as 100,000 voices in support of the grifting c-unit. I hate the fact that I'm proving Godwin's Law to be true here, but it's no different to a sub-section of those who attended the Nuremberg Rallies only having been there because they liked driving down the Autobahn in their KDF-Wagen. Saturday 3pm really is the normal kick off time.

The Easter Thurs evening game a few years ago. Very heavily policed, but trouble before and especially after the game. The area around the station was locked down for a long time, with fans not able to get their cars until the next day. As a result, it was decided that future games would be midday.

I guess it depends on what you mean by significant disorder. The 1v5 loss in 2011 wasn't that pretty beforehand. Police horse lines and squaring up and all that - it's not riotous behaviour, but it's the sort of thing that they want to avoid in planning kick off times. But yes, I do agree with the point in general. I think frankly the TV companies just get what they want, unfortunately. Right now you can't watch a match at 3pm on a Saturday on TV because of the ban on showing them. Pretty soon you won't be able to watch a match at 3pm on a Saturday on TV because there won't be any matches at 3pm on a Saturday!

Not sure all the people who take part are racists. Sure a few will be, but the vast majority are just fed up with people entering their country illegally. The guy off the telly, Rylan? got the push the other day for saying that as a Brit he has to show ID to re enter Britain, yet others are being escorted in without. I guess it is a matter of opinion, but one thing is for certain, just because you want something done to prevent people entering your country illegally, doesn't make you a racist.

The problem is the terms, racist, fascis & nazi are used to regularly on here. I can't think of anyone I have come across who fits that identity
