Blackburn on Saturday then 18:53 - Sep 17 with 3245 views | Dubtractor | What do we know about them this season? What sort of football does Ismael favour? I've got it in my head that he plays fairly pragmatic football, but then I may need to recalibrate my definition of pragmatic given a few of our games this season so far! They lost at home to the budgies, so must be pretty crap, yeah?

I may have ruined it for everyone now so apologies but after reading the pre game stuff about the way the players went into training after the window closed, having a week where the vast majority of the squad have now trained together too, Im saying friday was the start of a 10 game winning run

I was going to say 8 wins and 2 draws, but yours sounds much better.

Agree.. We need to build some real momentum. But Any type of away win is a good result. Assuming there are no real injuries. We look like we've got a real game changing bench to affect games, should it not go perfectly from the off.. So I'm feeling confident. Think Rovers can be very hot and cold. Hopefully we'll take the game by the throat and build on the excellent 5-0 from Friday.
Blackburn on Saturday then on 04:21 - Sep 18 with 1827 views | muccletonjoe | Unlikely to play the low block , we should have the upper hand in midfield, they can break well from defence, so deal with that and we've got 3 points.
Blackburn on Saturday then on 13:10 - Sep 18 with 1138 views | LeBlue | I went to see them at Watford last week (my brother is a Rovers fan). Thought they played well and limited Watford to few chances. Some highlights of their team from me: Scott Wharton at the back, brother of Adam. Very good, solid and good reading of the game. They like to play out from the back but would like to see them pressed more than Watforrd did, which I imagine we will want to do. Cantwell. Pretty much ran midfield, has been made skipper and he seems to relish it. 2 x Japanese forwards. Definitely have a good understanding of each other and linked well in patterns of play. Combined well with a little ball round the corner for the goal, which was a composed finish. Gudjohnsson (sone of Eider). Came on for about 15 minutes and looked a class above. Strong and skilful and moved the ball purposefully. Played on the right behind the 9 and linked very well with Cantwell. Can imagine he will start on Saturday and may peg Davis back. A small sample size of one game against a Watford side that looked a bit devoid of ideas.

Think it’s going to be a real test of our progression. Blackburn bit of confidence after that win. And sounds like some decent players. Cantwell is a quality player. Sums up the league, that Blackburn are probably high mid table, but could push for a play-off. If we get the win, then I’d really be confident of a run up into the top two. Big boost for manager, players and fans. Could do with a celebration in front of a big away end, continue to build that bond with the new guard. I imagine Ismael - who seems a good manager - is a little torn on how to set/up against us. Too adventurous and they could get spanked. But a chance to get at us and sneak a goal. Our super subs must be a real dilemma also. Knowing that on 65mins you’re going to have 4 attackers who’d probably be starters for Blackburn. All very exciting.

Blackburn on Saturday then on 13:50 - Sep 18 with 953 views | rickw | Looking at their stats it suggests they are an aggressive high pressing team playing 4231 with everything going through Cantwell - however I'd back Matusiwa to stop him on Saturday!

It would be terrible if Cantwell got frustrated by all the attention from Matusiwa and showed the side of himself that throws his toys out of the pram, absolutely terrible...
