I'm feeling optimistic and predict a 3-1 win. I think we'll start with the same line up as against Sheff Utd. 1-0 at half time and then control the game to win comfortably in the 2nd half. Will be interested to see how well Andre Dozzell plays, looks like he's had a decent start to the season.

I think we might see a first Nunez start in place of Cajuste but apart from that and Kipre starting for the suspended Greaves I agree it will be largely unchanged.

Of course, forgot about the Greaves suspension! I think we'll definitely see Nunez at some point

Hopefully Josh Murphy is still out injured as that will be their best player alongside their first choice keeper and centre back.
No Chaplin as well.

I’d also go 2-0. Pompey have yet to score more than once in a game this season. Several key injuries and their star man (and ours, Chappers) is ineligible to play.
Azon or Akpom to get their first Town goal.

It is a game we really should be winning.

It really is. On paper and all that, however I wish the prospect of these games filled me more with optimism than dread.

Murphy is 50/50.

It's a shame Chappers can't play - my Pompey-loving ex brother-in-law reckons he was complete sh** last week when they got beat 2-0 by a Sheffield Wednesday scratch side.

He's hoping they don't purchase him in January......he wondered if they'd send him back early.

Yes, for no particular reason I'd have Núñez starting Saturday, Cajuste on the midweek game and then Núñez again on the next weekend game, whomsoever that may be against.

I believe Portsmouth have quite a good record at Portman Road over the years certainly better than you'd expect but even so, can't see past a fairly comfortable Town win 3-0.

And some on here think we're too quick to judge. Wow.

Anything less than three points would clearly be a really poor result.
