So, whilst I accept some will rightly point out certain elements of our play being weak, like the O'Shea/Furlong post earlier, the fact is, we are barely in second gear, and I am very confident that, if they stay fit, the Davis/Jaden combo, with J. Clarke off the bench is going to be something special this season.
We definitely only in second gear .team starting to gel now and with the break ..we will only get stronger..if we can win away at Middlesbrough and Home under the lights against Charlton. And another win .we can start believing plus our game in hand ..a draw against boro .won't be the end of the world anyway

Its also true McKenna knows we are still gelling and over many games with ball retention and attacking intent should start to see results pilling on. Its again like the Premiership season where we started without our full set of confirmed signings. Many pointed out that the team was not finished yet in August. McKenna knows this, and you hope, that if we do make it back to the promised land as hoped, wholes sale changes are not as needed. Because it didn't work for us last year, you can't bed in a whole new team in the Prem especially when you change your goalkeeper. Ultimately, we are going in the right direction and its from christmas on we'll see what top gear looks like.

We will be ok. The team is going through a settling period and I doubt we will see its full potential until after Christmas. That would follow the pattern of McKenna’s first half season here that truly delivered the following season.
The quality of the players we have over other Championship teams is scary.
So pleased for Philogene and a shout out to Clarke too. Ok, easy finish, but he got there to make that finish. Five goals now.
Norwich? Strangely I couldn’t give a hoot about them whereas the draw two years ago really annoyed me. Bit like swatting an irritating fly. It was the three points and another home win I was interested in.
Not sure Nunez (I like him) is going to be on their Christmas card list though.
I have to say Mick Mills (legend of course) is depressing the hell out of me. You’d have thought we’d lost. Enjoy the win Mick!
