Almost accepting of their fate today..... but more worryingly for them, their season as its unfolding as a whole.....

Did anyone think we WEREN'T going to lose today? - Main Discussion - Norwich City - The Pinkun Forums https://share.google/F9EJxsxj0NdDWRoMf

Norwich reminded me of us under McCarthy - a team of solid professionals but they're only as good as the service to their star man upfront is on the day,
and today it was sh1te.

Agree. We were pretty excellent too. Sustained pressure, midfield dominance, defensive resilience. I was pretty critical Tuesdee, but today was professional and passionate. Rarely you see such consistently good displays from the 11 and the subs.

Really excellent and exactly the win we needed to get that horrible record back in the blue and a bit of a message out there that we mean business.

Great day all round.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

As I’ve said on a couple of other threads, I think they’re slowly realising they are now a nothing club with a very mediocre at best few years in the way. Which is beautiful to see.

This is an incredible feeling, I was 9 when we lost beat that lot, feels every bit as good as I dreamed it would be

And yet just a few months ago they were so optimistic. This might be an all-timer of a tweet.

We weren't even at our best, but clearly we were a class above - actually, much like Norwich in that same era I mention - roles have been reversed, nature is healing.

They're slowly realising that, and they're going to be competing with a lot of clubs at the bottom who don't have that hang-up and are a lot better adapted to a relegation scrap than Nodge.

I genuinely think they're a good chance to go down, and while I think Manning is probably a decent manager, he's already deep in the sh!t and with the Ipswich connection he might be too far gone already to get the fans back on side.

I said that to my mate as we left the ground.

Solid players, zero flair and eff all service to the front man.

Thing is, theyve spent a lot of money on bang average, Micks team cost about Β£3.50 and a gift voucher

They're quite lucky this year really. Sheffield Weds in a terrible state, Utd desperate trying to undo the damage they did with Selles, confidence sucked right out of them. 2 teams that look like relegation fodder and sadly far worse than Scum. Wilder may yet pick Shef U back up and let's hope so (i dislike both Sheffield clubs and would love to see them both go down, not sure why, just do) so feels like there may only be 1 spot open for a 3rd and I dont think scum are that bad. Predict somewhere between 19th and 15th for them if they stick with Manning.

I thought they were alright. Gave us a lot of bother in their pressing, although as soon as we stopped playing it out from the back and getting it up front quicker they didn't really offer anything. They won't challenge for promotion on today's evidence, but I think there are more than three teams worse than them. Indeed we've already played at least one worse team.

I read through a few pages of their pink un forum, just for a laugh - they really are an unpleasant bunch, lots of nasty little digs at us fans, mckenna, the players, happy to wish physical harm to Nunez - although some actually acknowledged that Philogene was the best player on the pitch.

We're a bunch of angels on here in comparison

I didn’t think we played particularly well tbh. First half was really scrappy and you could feel the frustration until JP’s wonder strike.

Thought we improved second half when we were a bit more pragmatic and stopped playing Furlong into trouble. Third goal killed the game and if that had come earlier I think we would have thumped them
