He is our worse and least valuable player and by a long chalk. He is not good enough to go high or has the balls to go down the middle. So he goes one way and at a savable height and you know that before he takes it. I can’t fathom how he’s on pens when Billy puts them more accurate from 25 yards. It wasn't a terrible penalty though. Could've been better of course, but it's not like he skied it or went half-hearted.
Problem is of course is it was like a goal for them. And then of course they've got the goal so a double whammy. The only good thing is that half-time came so soon after. Good time to remind the players that they're doing OK, but explain where we need to sharpen up. | |

Think it's fair to say he's been quite poor. His movement is still good and has always been his strength, but his touch has deserted him - seems to take him 2-3 touches to get it fully under control and his one touch passing is incredibly inconsistent.
The penalty was telegraphed. You can tell by the run up which way he's going, and he's put it perfect height for the keeper. The very sign of a player with no confidence.
Last championship season he had no pressure because we had no viable replacement - wouldn't be surprised to see Azon start getting more minutes. We can't have any passengers and Philogene can only do so much in the scoring department. |  | | |

That does seem bizarre even from our fan base. I don’t recall. Maybe for our system he done things similar to delap. But his finishing is poor which is bad for a striker! Delap on the other hand felt very confident with him at the penalty spot. | | | |
