Think it was more the performance than the result. We were carved open and left exposed numerous times. We never seemed to get to grips with the intensity of the game. |  |

The table's so tight at the moment that it's almost not worth paying attention to league position. Need to close the points gap between us and those at the top but that won't take much time at all if we manage to kick ourselves into gear*.

Hate to say it and I'm sure it's not as straight forward as this but Bristol City fans did warn us about Ashton getting almost obsessed with his player trading model and going a bit gung-ho.
