At times, but we aren't going to be running through Charlton's backline at 100mph every attack. I think we are ticking along just fine.

Tonight specifically: 12 shots, 1 on target. We may lack urgency. We certainly lack clinical finishing. You've got to score when you're on top, or it will bite you. |  | | |

Flatter to deceive is probably the phrase to best describe us. I agree we look good and have all the control. But I think that’s because Charlton are sitting off us and conceding possession. They’re asking whether we can play through that block and so far we have no answers and lack the quality to hurt them.
We’ve had a couple of good opportunities despite that. Akpom should have hit the target instead of the bar. McAteer could have had an excellent opportunity had he been onside and controlled the ball. He missed a regular shot from the edge of the box too. And Nunez dallied when it had opened up for him.
Ultimately, we’ve shown poor execution in the final third. Luckily they have too and missed a couple of very good chances of their own. It reminds me of those games in L1 where we had 20 shots and only got 1 on target. |  |

We have had a stack of decent openings.
Just a little bit of composure and confidence in front of goal, and a bit of fortune with a packed defence. | |
