16 Corners on 23:12 - Oct 21 with 895 views | EsherBlueStu | Nope and Charlton should’ve scored from their one in the first half when we left a man unmarked in the six yard box. Our set piece coach is still robbing a living…
16 Corners on 00:42 - Oct 22 with 799 views | tractorshark | Said the same thing and add to that the free kicks. Every one lumped into the box against a sizeable team who, for the most part, dealt with it fairly easily. No attempt at a variation, no subtlety or invention. Our set-piece coach is a fraud. Based on what we’re seeing, he is bringing nothing to the table.

Jack Clarke and Nunez who both actually took a lot of them unless my memory is failing. I actually thought the corners themselves were not bad. It was just a failure by the players in the box to attack them other the the time Greaves stretched for a header in front of O'Shea who was in a perfect spot to score. [Post edited 22 Oct 5:20]

16 Corners on 06:33 - Oct 22 with 566 views | RIPbobby | I think with opposition putting all their 11 players in the box it would be much more prudent to actually have 5 or 6 players outside the box. It would totally confuse them. Johnson was in such a good position on the corner of the box a few times last night. We could be doing something with that.
16 Corners on 08:48 - Oct 22 with 373 views | DJR | Despite his height, Greaves contact is poor, so that his headers mainly loop up in the air, or go off target.
16 Corners on 08:58 - Oct 22 with 346 views | BloomBlue | One great ball in from Clarke, when somehow the defender got his head to it from right under the bar. But to be fair that was fully committed defending to prevent a goal... oh for some of that from our defenders.

The first four corners were taken by three different players and Philogene took some when Davis went off. They all seemed to be trying the same thing with little variation. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Davis took the first one…. on 09:28 - Oct 22 with 271 views | Bloots | …Nunez took the second one, from the same side, about a minute later. Clarke took the 3rd one. When we don’t even know who’s gonna take them, how are we meant to know who’s gonna score from them? It’s a minor detail, but it illustrates how clueless we are from set pieces.

Exactly what I was about to post. Then you had Philogene taking them when he came on. Young taking free kicks. So 5 players.
