Nunez should be our 8/10 so much more progressive passing. Think we need a box to box 6 in Jan to rotate with Taylor. Cajuste - to be honest are we able to get out of the loan at all in Jan? assume not as it was obligation to buy if promoted. But he looks like the proverbial solution without a problem. Ie, no end product, not really creative and too switched off / lacking pace to get back to be a midfielder general. |  | | |

Nunez playing in that advanced role worked today but does leave us short in cover for midfield unless Humphreys comes in (I think he should). Szmodics is fine but wasn't fully fit. However, what was going on with Akpom? He took about 10 minutes to get ready to come on and didn't have any socks! Gave the impression he didn't want to play. I would have told him not to bother and brought Nunez or Azon on there instead. |  |

It doesn't matter though, if him playing brings a much needed fluidity and thrust to our forward play and makes us more solid in the middle, more chances will be created (and fewer conceded) and others Ie Clarke, Jaden, Egeli, Azon can stick the ball in the net. | | | |
