If you’re a Town fan, you’d be saying it was ridiculously soft and he’s gone over so easily if it was the opposition. Egili had a little bit of contact in the box on a cross for them so it evened out enough for me. It was a lovely bit of skill but not a surprising no call. [Post edited 25 Oct 15:00]

I thought it was a penalty but thought the same when Egeli leant on their player at the back post shortly after too. The ref was fairly consistent in not giving any of those fouls most of the match (although he did give a few randomly in the end). |  |

Has to be surely. Similarly a foul just off the pitch elsewhere would surely be a free kick on the pitch at the nearest point to the foul. If the rules give anything different I would be surprised. | |
