Perhaps a little harsh but I can’t help feel there is a touch of ‘Kyle Edwards’ syndrome with our admiration of Cajuste.
Bags of talent, undoubtedly loads of ability… but doesn’t really translate that into goals, assists, key passes etc.
I remember the clamour when we signed Edwards ‘cheat code’ and ‘best player in the league’ were thrown around (similar to Cajuste) but didn’t ever translate that to end product.. hopefully Cajuste can |  | | |

This,,,, this,,, this,,,, says it all, for me about Cajuste. Or, more honestly, about his fan's opinion of him. "Strength, tenacity and vision". Wow.
Look... can we be honest.... their defender made a bad first touch and was stumbling, then Cajuste also stumbled into him and they both fell over. But Cajuste reacted quicker and got up and played a simple 5 yard pass.
I actually liked what he did because it was so non-Cajustey. It was clumsy and ugly, ... but there was an end product. I'd like to see more of that.... but from the bench. Jack Taylor deserves to start again next to Matusiwa. | | | |

We looked much more solid with Taylor in there to be honest. Think I’d be sticking with Taylor as a starter for some time. Certainly til some more confidence has been restored to our defence.
I also prefer Walton to Palmer. Now WBA were poor and maybe their press was sh1t, but we seemed more composed at the back generally tbh. | | | |

I think Taylor starting was a bit of a warning shot to Cajuste and Nunez. You can’t just turn up in this league, no matter how good of a footballer you are, you’ve got to outwork the other team. Jack Taylor brings that in abundance, he’ll drive forwards and stick a boot in when needed, something that Cajuste in particular hasn’t been great at this season. | | | |

Walton looked confident with the ball but you have to feel a bit sorry for Palmer, he has one clean sheet in what 23 games, and Walton has one in his last one, yet Palmer would have kept a clean sheet yesterday as Walton made no significant saves. |  |

I really like Cajuste and expected him to absolutely rip this league to shreds but it's true he's not got the energy, legs and physicality you absolutely need in this league. Or maybe he does have it but is fearful of injuring his knee. Whilst we are playing ourselves into form Taylor is a better bet for me, or do the obvious thing and go 3 in the middle which would suit Cajuste better |  | | |

Maybe my memory is slipping, but I remember none of that happening at all, most had no knowledge of who he was as a player. I might be wrong, but I certainly don't recall hime being referred to as a 'cheat code'.
Cheat Code is something I've only seen this year and should be banned immediately from this forum. Its on the same level as 'this hack'. | |
