I very much doubt they will appoint KM off the back of last season's PL.

This is as far from a dig as it can be as it's excellent for us and I wouldn't want them to come in for him but from a pure stats viewpoint, fans will not wear the idea of a manager who scored 25 points last season coming in to 'save' a club that only has 2 points on the board in November.

It's got the look of a fire fighter type appointment until the end of the season to me. A dare I say it, MM or Warnock type.
