| Good start for westham (n/t) on 14:17 - Nov 2 with 550 views | Churchman | Not improving either. It wasn’t a penalty. Stop complaining West Ham! I laughed. I really don’t like them and can’t see why they’re making a fuss given they’re all miles from the pitch. Their fullback was turned inside out by the goalscorer. Great finish, mind. | | | |
| Good start for westham (n/t) on 14:18 - Nov 2 with 554 views | Meadowlark | It is. Horrible football stadium. Not only inside but access and egress too. And a long walk from "civilisation." Talking to some 'ammers prior to the match last season, they don't like it much either. | | | |

Think they were complaining that having ruled the Newcastle defender got a touch they should get a corner.

My eyes don't understand the pitch dimensions, it looks to me a really long and narrow pitch. I used to get the same weirdness with Bayern Munich's old stadium. They were both Olympic Stadiums probably something to do with the shape around it or camera angle.

I'm surprised they have clung onto him so long, he's just the kind of winger that Liverpool seem to like With Jota gone, I did wonder if they'd go for him but they went for Wirz

I was speaking to a West Ham-supporting ex-Football League referee/linesman the other week and he said that he basically doesn't follow them anymore since the stadium move. I'm sure there are a number of others like him. They're almost not the same club anymore.

That would be as disconcerting as watching Julian Dicks play for Liverpool!

The distance from the pitch there is a complete contrast to Loftus Road. The play off second leg at their old ground was probably the best and most intimidating I have experienced.

Even the West Ham fans themselves said that one was particularly loud

Traditionalists hate change. And the Olympic Stadium is a poor venue to watch anything apart from athletics. But West Ham get far bigger crowds there than they would at Upton Park, so it was financially a good move for them & that's all that really matters these days.
