We're getting better without quite being a coherent team yet 17:06 - Nov 8 with 1066 viewsSteve_M

Some good stuff today at times, and nine goals in a week is good going. If we can keep picking points up as we have this week, we can close the gap to the top of the table and be well placed for the second half of the season.

Frustrating to keep conceding from such rare opposition chances but Walton did excellently to stop it being 2-2.

I think we're getting there but more work to do.

Getting goals more readily which helps, plus a 7 point week really helps.

Yep, first half was very good indeed. After half time we really struggled with heir changes and were hanging on for the changes and looking very leggy.

The subs livened us up no end.

We need to turn that complete dominance first half into clear chances and goals.

The only Muff in Town.

The fact we’re going away to mid table championship teams and beating them 4-1 without looking particularly good is encouraging in itself.

Agree more work to do, I don’t think it was a particularly good performance after aside from the first and final 10 - 15. Ironically I think our best performance of the week was the one we drew.

We’re getting there, onwards and upwards.

I too oddly thought we looked more coherent against Watford but hey 7 points in a week is always good.

I thought we were very ‘coherent’ for 40% of that game (n/t) on 17:21 - Nov 8 with 888 viewsunstableblue

Whilst the two 4-1 wins are very much welcome we are still some way off our best. I loved the team we picked today for an away match and I thought we were excellent in the first half. We were not so fluid second half and were perhaps a big unfortunate to concede the equaliser. We were equally fortunate to go 2-1 up. Nice 3rd goal and fortunate again for the 4th.

Still a good overall result without being at our best. Fairly solid and they never really looked like scoring today, although they did have the home crowd on their side for a few minutes when perhaps we should have been pushing to get further ahead. At least we are not playing Friday night after an internation break again... and it is at home. Surely Wrexham wont be as open as they normally are at portman road? Be nice to see Broady and big Kief.

Not having the 4th being fortunate. We cut them open and Nunez has got a tap in if Burgess leaves it.

Thought we controlled it first half without really looking threatening. In fact only a couple of shots on goal one powder puff effort and the goal. We controlled the midfield and defence but no real end product from our players. Second half very lucky not to be 2-2 after their manager changed things up and we failed to respond. In fact we only had four shots on target the whole game that included two headers on 10 seconds. Our second goal wasn't even on target before deflected in and the other was an own goal. Improvement needed up front.

You're wasting your time. This poster is historically overly negative. They we're the first and only poster I blocked, after listening to their drivel on the chatroom. I ended up giving up on the chatroom, as more of this posters like were spawning. I then removed them from my div list, they have since started posting their nonsense in the forum too.

Their goal was very lucky, the chap swinging and missing wrong-footed everyone and luckily went to the scorer for a simple tap in. Not a lot you can do about that.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

This season just gets worse and worse for you doesn’t it, and things looked so promising for the Boo Boys after Charlton!
Sadly for you McK is the best young manager in England.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
