He was in the top ten for big chances created by ALL premier league players last season, not just defenders, so that just shows how valuable he is to us. I think it was more about the tactic of having him play so far forward rather than him being a bad defender (whilst I think his defending could be improved, he's really not as bad as a lot of people think). | | | |
