| QPR (h), Stoke (a) in 23/24 18:35 - Nov 22 with 4124 views | jasondozzell | These types of games happen. Far too much knee jerk overreaction. Fairly sanguine. Controlled the game. Should have won. Move on. Squad players need confidence not moans. Chuba wasn't as bad as many saying. Some good things in there and good touch at times. Unsurprisingly still adapting to new surroundings. Even the boos at the end were embarrassed. Everyone's been spoilt. Home draw in November isn't a crisis. Onto the next one. For me it's meh and onto Hull. [Post edited 22 Nov 2025 18:40]

He didn't have a good game but I thought he tried to the right thing at times. Some neat footwork. But yeah, struggled to make impact.

Same agree, really hard to break down teams like that, but you have to take your chances when they come. Seconded that Akpom is not working for us in that role, seems to pick the ball up in some lovely spots but turns into trouble, takes 1 extra touch, gets fouled

| QPR, Stoke at home in 23/24 on 18:40 - Nov 22 with 2045 views | itfcsuth | Chuba was awful, as was Philogene. This squad is miles off it, and if you’re so far off it, having supposedly built this strong squad for over a £100m 15 games in to the season, I would say something is not quite right. We’ve been spoilt with a really special team, so now we have to settle for a really average one, sounds odd to me? | | | |

Philogene wasn't awful. They are not miles off it You know that yourself I'm sure. 'Something is not quite right' - what because no team no matter how much dosh spent has a divine right to win every game 2-0? Presumably you were saying the same about the league one team after Bristol Rovers.

Errr. Can you explain the relevance of two back to back Christmas games in a few days with an injured side compared to a home performance coming off an international break? Especially when we were in the top 2 with a league 1 squad at the time and we are currently outside the playoffs with a parachute squad 150M squad. Also that’s one win in 4 at home (scoring two goals in the process) Context is lost on you a bit isn’t it! Embarrassing really.

There’s half full, and then some. This guy is on another level. Very poor today. Ala Charlton, Derby, Watford, plus the whole of the 24-25 season. A lot of money spent poorly. Read the room buddy.

Not telling anyone how to feel. Just in my opinion don't think that was remotely worth boos at end. Or people saying it was dire. We'll draw more games this season!

By how many points clear at the top of the table would you say we have to be in November for you to be satisfied?

It is about performances, the cohesion in the team and how we are improving that is the context. We cannot seem to put any momentum together. We have spent £150 m +, ripped up a once in a generation team, and have ended up with a worse performing championship team than the last time we were in this league. I shudder to think of this team in the premier league.

We're what we are - a pretty much new side in a ferocious league getting used to playing the KM way that takes time to hone. I agree we're inconsistent. Are we trending the right way? Yes. I don't agree that we ripped up the once in a generation team. For different reasons many left and to we were always going to find that when doing 5 years of turnover in 2 seasons because of the speed of ascent. The key thing this season was patience. Look at how much KM has been trying to impress that on supporters. We are going to be okay in terms of a top 6 finish at least. I suspect it will be much higher. The last time we were in the league was a footballing fairytale. They don't happen most of the time. Everyone expectsing instant runaway league success just reveals their lack of knowledge imo. KM's thoughts as close as anyone will get to a really informed understanding of where we are. [Post edited 22 Nov 2025 19:23]

We scored goals that season. This season we are so hopeless in front of goal in most games. When it clicks we get 4 or 5, but so many times we get 0 or 1.
