TBH when away, I would start McAteer. Don't trust SWE defensively away from home when his services there are more likely to be needed. Not that McAteer played particularly well, but he works hard. Agree re Akpom, he is bigger than Azon, so don't see why he can't play the 9 role, as long as he's prepared to put the graft in. [Post edited 25 Nov 2025 22:02]

Yes, I'd agree with all of those as well.
Contrary to a lot of understandable opinion, Akpom can be a #10 but more the sort of #10 who plays as a second striker off a #9, rather than the sort who brings the overlapping wide players in. I'd really like to see him get a few games as a straight #9. |  |
