Not really. It's football. It doesn't work that you just automatically beat lower placed sides.

It was not that. Oxford did the basics right. They fought for each other, the team, manager and badge and deservedly won the game. Every player knew their job and left it out there. They were excellent and credit where it’s due. Well done Rowett. You can take KM out of your pocket now.
We didn’t do the basics at all. Lots of possession, slide passes, tapping through, little one twos in areas that don’t matter, but that won’t win games. It makes it easy for the opposition. Do your little slide rule passes and I’ll take the ball when you are done. 50/50s? We’ll have those thanks and so they did. That is us. Talented players, but unlike Oxford and Wrexham, not a team.
I’m not interested in what the players cost or are paid. That’s not down to them. How hard they work, what they deliver is down to them.
I hope they learn from tonight’s mess. But we are now into December so they will have to look at some stage before the month end at how much progress they’ve made forming a team and with January coming up, what they’re going to do about it.
Burns might add something if there’s anything left after injury and I’d certainly bring back Chaplin. Lastly, changing the team - I know it’s a squad game and it’s what top teams do, but I’d prefer us to have an established team that changes than chucking players in like mud at a wall.
I’ll be interested in what McKenna has to say then on to the next one. It is what it is. We lost a game of football. It’s not the end of the world (at least I won a bit of money playing golf today) and hopefully we will take something from it.
