That joke isn't funny anymore.

We never played the way we do now. Ball into Chaplin then he put behind the full back Burns then ran behind. We are now slow in the build up allowing opposition to get into position. We attacked with purpose until the final whistle went. A goal down us fans always believed we would come back not sure I see that now.

Talk about a massive oversimplification.

Perhaps you should look for a different past time, where you can meet your mates in a more stimulating environment. Perhaps try 10 pin bowling. [Post edited 29 Nov 9:33]

MM was boring but that season we’d hit teams on the break with a good old HOOF was fun tbh.

Once upon a time Al-Hamadi was the hate figure, now it's McAteer. Same old. Let's not kid ourselves, the knives were poised on nights such as Town 4 Rotherham 3 when we let a 3-1 lead slip, and were rescued by the late Omari goal. It wasn't all smiles and sunshine back then as well, the same whingers were ready to vent, they just didn't get as many chances.

When we had our wobble over late December to February, people were wetting the bed and saying we needed to just focus on making sure we secured a play off place. We have a lot of absolute melts among our supporters.

Cajuste and Taylor do quite a lot too. We’re slow in our build up allowing the opposition to get in shape and then our passing lines are cut off and we end up having to work the ball from side to side. But I wouldn’t say that’s the same as deliberately playing tiki taka. Besides, being tippy tappy suggests we look to pass for the sake of it, where most of our attacking options want to carry the ball and only pass as a last resort (thereby also slowing us down).
