As has been said multiple times, it’s not about the capacity.
But you know that.

No it’s about replicating the horror show theyve got at Bristol City

Perhaps Ashton's comments have led to more people who weren't planning to attend putting their tickets up for resale?

I think there's also a difference between some late singles going on sale and people being able to secure the same seat with friends week in/week out.

Have a look at the tickets available - it’s not one or two tickets here and there. And it’s a 3pm Saturday vs top of the league

Go and look at Bristol City’s commercial revenue compared to ours then come back and tell me it’s a horror show.

As much as I disagree with the OP, because the Cobbold is a cave, but -

You’re right. That empty monster of a stand there is honking.

Would you like a cup of Earl Grey to calm you down? You’re getting all hot and bothered over the difference between our Div 2 crowd tomorrow being 28,973 or 29,104. 🤷

This is why I often avoid this place when the team isn't on form. Everyone has a new negative angle to find on anything to do with the team/club.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Indeed. We really could do with a couple of quick wins before things turn ugly. I say win, but even a convincing performance of intensity and purpose would do the trick right now.

Ipswich 0-1 Coventry (Wolfenden 90+5) it is then!

The only place where there seems to be quite a few together is the SAR area where the players/staff tickets are - maybe more of these coming back on sale now than previously?

The rest of it seems to be limited to 1-4 tickets together or the Restricted View tickets in the West Stand - even for a top of the table clash there'll be people who have other commitments and know they can't make it.

I put my ticket in the West Stand up for resale a couple of weeks ago and it was resold no problem.

Possible why people won’t go.
Christmas time demands
Other commitments
Weather
Probability of losing
Poor atmosphere

It’s a nice ground now in fairness. I’ve been going to Ashton Gate on and off since about 1989 and it used to be a bit of a hole, certainly nothing special although we wouldn’t have bothered at the time. It’s a pretty good facility now, bar the weird layout at the back of the away area.

You can’t stand still. Irrespective of how the team does, you have to keep developing off the pitch it you’ll get trees growing out of the crud collecting on your roof like we had under Evans. And you can’t accuse Aston or the owners of prioritising infrastructure spend over the squad. I’ve not looked, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve got the highest squad investment in Championship history. We literally broke the league’s transfer record in the summer for Walle Egeli.

I always put my ticket up for resale when I cant get there. Next weeks visit of Stoke is the first time it has not resold.

But if tickets are not going for Cov remember that Christmas is only two weeks away and many family oriented people have other priorities.

I dissagree that people will be put off because of the strength of the opposition. It is going to be the best atmosphere since we thrashed the Budgies.
