There's at least 84 missing. I'm sure they're just Dublin down on their Outlook and will be back soon to share their Point of Blue.

| Quiet on here tonight on 23:04 - Dec 6 with 1058 views | RIPbobby | I think there are lots of things to discuss. Quite a complex game to analyse today. In fairness to us I don't think anybody had a bad game. We played really well second half and could have scored several more. Play like that each week and we go up. But nobody will let us play on the break with our ammunition on show. [Post edited 6 Dec 2025 23:05]

I'm pleased for McKenna and the players surely they enjoy their weekend more with a win and performance rather than criticism which to a point has been justified. As I have said before accepting mediocrity will get you nowhere strife to be your best as a player you need to look at yourself in the mirror and say you did your best irrespective of result.

Your post implies that if somebody is not wailing and bedwetting after every bad half or disappointing result they are ‘accepting mediocrity’. I’m sure that’s not the case but if it is that’s plain wrong. Nobody is immune from criticism, but how, where and when really matters. A lot of the criticism has been plain nasty, unjustified and deliberately destructive. I can’t agree with that. The players have tried. We’ve all seen what downing tools looks like and it’s not what I’ve witnessed since Aug 2024. Rank poor displays, disjointed performances, off form you name it. But not lack of effort. I get why you quote stats of 11 in 55. I think that’s unfair though. The Premier League was a nightmare for us but this season is a separate entity. As it goes, I hoped and thought we’d be closer than 12 points from the leaders and play better than we have. But it’s very rare for a new team to come together as fast Sunderland have. It took the promotion team over a year to form in an easier league than this. Look at how long it took Coventry’s team to get where they are, Unless it becomes untenable as Manning’s position at Norwich became, throwing out managers as 20+ on this forum want is for me akin to giving up. And one thing you should never do is give up. If you take a beating, learn and keep going until you come out on top. [Post edited 7 Dec 2025 23:04]

Maybe your ears are broken. North Stand was much better yesterday and my throat is a little hoarse today.
