Thought it was the first performance where we looked like we’d clicked. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t free flowing football for 90 minutes, but it all looked joined up when we did have the ball. Probably the first I’ve felt that about ‘this’ side.
Also you can see Davis and Philogene striking up a good partnership now. Again, the first game where I really felt they knew each others roles.

Totally agree. I'm not sure where the playing with "slowness" comment came from, because we were definitely moving the ball around much quicker than recently, and players looked like they were playing naturally and not having to think too hard.
I actually commented to the chap next to me that it looked like McKenna ball was back. I thought we managed the game really well. |  | | |
