Yes its right to be appalled about it. Homelessness in Britain is at ridiculous levels considering we are the world's 6th biggest economy. Social housing stocks have been decimated and even young working people are struggling to buy homes. It makes me angry. FYI I have been homeless myself and I have also given back in terms of helping out charities like Emmaus and going out distributing sandwiches in the town centre, considering myself fortunate to have pulled myself out of that situation. What irks me is people virtue signalling about it and then having a dig at others. If you're doing FA to help then you're no more effecitvely helping than someone who doesn't care. | | | |
