And protected by the system as well. Whoever knew enough to put those 'lone female' rules in place should have refused to work with him, rather than put in place mitigation measures. Twas ever thus, and ever thus shall be. Assuming these allegations actually get any traction, he'll no doubt find Jesus, get baptised by Bear Grylls, and be back for the Christmas book season next year. I see even Huw Edwards is now angling some sort of comeback.

"Huw Edwards is now angling some sort of comeback". Bob and Paul have got that corner of the market sewn up, surely?

I found those mitigations odd myself. Surely there is no obligation to work with him at all if there is that much unease and doubt with working with him. Walliams has always given me bad vibes if I'm honest and I doubt I am alone.

Facks sake. Not good at all if true. Whether or not it is true is anyone’s guess given it’s the Mail. But there’ll no doubt be a lot come out from different sources now his publisher has belatedly made a stand. And maybe even the Mail can be right sometimes!

Given the talk of his PR firm and the like, I'd imagine that the Telegraph would have made sure everything was watertight before deciding to publish.

Taking aside the seriousness of the allegations, this does make me chuckle. When the Telegraph ran with their BBC bias investigation many of the people on this thread went with the "Can't believe the Torygraph" line.

| Walliams eh? on 19:21 - Dec 20 by Swansea_Blue | Yeah, same. I’ve a couple of his books on the kids’ bookshelves that will be going to a charity shop. I’m going to hang on to Rolf’s didgeridoo though. It’s what he would have wanted. Badum tish. [Post edited 20 Dec 19:22]
