Can he play as a centre striker or will he grow into a centre striker ?

Expect he can play anywhere across the front positions and we will see that as we sesrch for different solutions over the season. I would be less surprised him playing more regularly behind a striker than playing as a number 9.

He could play more centrally, but not yet.

Why not yet as we dont have a centre forward on form at the moment ?

Perhaps KMc will play him as a number 9; in FACup.

Hes got to be moved inside soon. Hes not developing on the right imo.

Think he has improved out there a lot since the start of the season.

Probably yes, but we need him on the right. McAteer is providing no goals or assists at least Egeli has chipped in. Really the decision to send Ogbene out on loan is looking like a bad one.

I think he flinches from the dirty work a striker like Hirst does. Don't see it myself. Not the type that likes a battle with big , hairy CBs. Though it would be possible in a team that wants a different profile CF to us.

He's played there for every age group of the Norwegian international team I believe.

Still think he will end up in the 10 though.

I see him as a young lad who has the composure to take chances. He & Philogene.

But with our Cup record what harm can it do ?

I don’t think he suits our right wing position at all.

I’d like to see him in the 10 when Nunez needs to be rested. Should give him better chances to shoot, he’s a powerful enough runner to take the ball deep and carry it.

I agree altho that was expected once he started to get used to the English game.

But in general he doesn't fit our right hand side and I don't personally see how its good for his development. Imo he needs to be put down the middle so he can start developing that powerhouse ability against cbs etc

Played a lot on the left and centrally in the 10 before he joined us, so I’d hope we see him in the 10 before the end of the season.

I don’t think he’s viewed as someone who can lead the line as a 9. Personally can’t see him being as effective there as would hinder a lot of his natural abilities

He may eventually evolve into that kind of striker, kind of Van Persie like I guess

if wes can get and stay match fit that problem would be sorted giving walle more freedom to move central

Agreed, Walle makes the same move almost every time, cutting inside in an attempt to get on his left foot. It's fairly predictable & rarely productive.
