Are the commentators actually there? It sounds to me as though they're in a studio and the sudden escalation in sound from the ground gets cut.
Whatever the reason, it's not good but given they're showing so many games, I guess it's too much to expect a full production on every match.

Are the commentators actually there? It sounds to me as though they're in a studio and the sudden escalation in sound from the ground gets cut. Whatever the reason, it's not good but given they're showing so many games, I guess it's too much to expect a full production on every match.

For most Sky+ games, the commentators aren't actually there at all which is why the sound mutes. Their mics will then override the natural sound of the crowd etc, as opposed to being there and the mics would retain the crowd noise.

Really is very poor, not to mention having to log in again when you already have and profile is showing.
