I'm hoping we don't go through the whole panic of McKenna heading to Man Utd.

I really don't think his stock is as high as it was when we last went up. He's doing a solid job at the moment but there are plenty of other options who I feel would be more viable options

Xavi
Iraola
Glasner
Maresca
Poch

I’d be more worried about it starting a chain of moves - I.e Glasner to Utd, then Palace come in for McKenna.

This seems the much more likely sequence of events.

My thoughts are that if Rosenior is being considered for the Chelsea job then it’s perfectly reasonable that McKenna is considered for the Utd job being a better coach than Rosenior in my opinion.

Having said that, Utd is totally bonkers club and McKenna would be crazy to go there if offered the job as it would probably end badly not because of his ability but because of the way the club is being run

Could well be right, but equally he said no to them before so would palace risk being rejected a second time?

Perhaps palace could opt for Southgate given his history with the club and the chain of events ends there

McKenna would want 'to be the manager, not to be the coach' (as Amorim said).

United wouldn't tolerate another person with that attitude, so Kieran's not going there.

Slightly different situation though isnt it? Rosenior is manager of strasbourg and they are under the same ownership group as chelsea arnt they so effectively a cheapish option appointing from within the same group

He's not going anywhere, because we've got a game in hand.

There are probably five managers in the world who would turn that job down. McK is not one of them.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

This could link in with the end of glasner's contract and therefore would be easier to appoint him as no compensation would be due
