Yup, it was probably the perfect game to sum up our season to date. Some beautiful periods of play, domination of the ball, not quite making the most of our chances and some wasteful finishing. |  | | |

It’s bizarre, because the stats from individual games make it very clear we need to be more clinical, yet we are the second highest scorers in the league. How vital is the number 9? Are we currently too reliant on Jack and Phil?
From watching us, a number 9 is vital, but league tables suggest something different.

Feels like every year since the dawn of time we've been saying it's the poorest Championship ever. More accurate is that we're a really good team for the level, with some top players, and would be even better if we could make the most of half our good attacking situations. | |

You are of course right but these games happen to everyone and I like to take the view that it's an ideal game for us not to take our chances. A) we won and got away with it B) they go in next game :).
It's like the Maidstone game but this time we at least won.
It's an interesting one with the strikers. We have no real learnt relationships built. I still think there is a player in Azon and we know Akpom can do big numbers. Bit frustrating. Kieffer Moore I suppose proved it is possible to hit the ground running. I think there is a big element though that we provide a 9 way fewer chances then in the promotion season. Would love to see some data on that. | |
