| McKenna to Palace… on 21:57 - Jan 16 with 579 views | urbanpenguin | I increasingly doubt it. It's reported that one of the main reasons the palace manager is leaving is because they are refusing to invest in very outdated training and youth setups, which are the very things Kieran has been fighting to upgrade here, successfully. I don't think he'd want to now go to a club that has a weakening squad with bad facilities only to have to lobby hard to start *another* multi-year development before he can get adequate training setup. | | | |
| McKenna to Palace… on 22:02 - Jan 16 with 546 views | SWLondonBlue93 | I reckon Palace have peaked. Winning a cup was an absolute dream for them, they are not a big enough club to establish themselves in Europe, whoever replaces Glasner will be swimming against the tide. | | | |

But we need to turn the potential into reality. As for now, we need to make sure of promotion, no need for KM to go anywhere if so. | | | |

| McKenna to Palace… on 07:30 - Jan 17 with 364 views | MK1 | I would think it would be an attractive stepping stone for him. After all, we would take where Palace are all day long. He isn't getting the Man Utd job until he proves he can manage at a higher level. I know he can do that with us, but Palace are at least 3 years ahead of us. | |

I am not sure about that. Palace are an established Premier League club. They have all the infrastructure to go with it, including the ability to bring in and develop Premier League players and a huge catchment area. They are also expanding their stadium. It’d be a big and logical step up for McKenna and a good stepping stone for a job at one of the big boys. Depending on how the next few games go, if our season doesn’t dribble away I can see McKenna here to the end of the season possibly, but not beyond that. Why? He’s been here a long time. There are new challenges out there and crucially he does not have the complete support of the fanbase - he’s alluded to that so he well and truly knows it. He will get that initially at a Palace or a Brighton, so why not? Whatever happens, he will always have my gratitude for an amazing few seasons and some lovely football. I like how he tries to get his teams to play football. I know plenty that follow this club prefer McCarthy hoof it style hence the grumbling if the defence don’t launch it. Everyone has different views and likes. We’ve been very lucky to have McKenna here and he has been very lucky to be here too. All good things come to an end and change is just how it is. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| McKenna to Palace… on 08:54 - Jan 17 with 274 views | PMac13 | I can’t see him going in the summer if we go up, the training ground will be ready to go with his specific requests put in place. State of the art facilities etc… Will he really want to go before he gets a chance to use them? | | | |
