This game has been quite an extreme example, from West Brom's defensive line you would think they are a League 2 side against a PL team. Back five sat on the six-yard box, no striker up the field, just defend and hope for the best. | | | |

In fairness that was a cracking goal!
Last 30 minutes it was a decent game, as West Brom had to come out of their shell a bit, but until then it was a really passive game. [Post edited 17 Jan 8:18]

I was actually quite impressed with Boro’s goals, especially Hayden Hackney for the first two! Rather than continuously recycling back across via the CBs, he ran at the defence, forcing defenders to commit, then good quick interplay in the box created the chances….a lesson in how to beat the low block in my view! | | | |
