It’s a win. And I know we play out from the back but sometimes when we are winning it all looks blo0dy dangerous. Walton was very shaky at times and our defence don’t like bringing it forward. Go a bit more direct when we have the lead, play it a bit safer. It will cost us against better teams, for example Bristol City on Tuesday night.

I thought it was entertaining and a comfortable win. I really don't get why so many seem not to enjoy watching us (although clearly from attendances many more do enjoy it).

I love KM’s brand of football. I don’t like this groups execution of it. Far too slow at times and poor composure in the final third.

Still, a wins a win. That’s all that matters now.

We can definitely improve at it but it's harsh to go as far as not liking their execution of it at all. They execute it effectively enough.

Proper strange fanbase. We played some lovely stuff today. Mick Mills sounded depressed like we’d just lost and conceded a couple of sloppy goals, people moaning about the passing around the back. Jesus wept.

I never felt uncomfortable with our playing out from the back at all today, we did what we had to do and played ourselves out of trouble a couple of times but that’s the norm. We always sail close to the wind but that’s the risk.

All this poor composure in the final third bollix is funny.

Second highest scorers in the league with 45 goals.

The way we play we create a lot of chances, so there’s going to be a lot of misses as you can’t score everything single one, today was fine, yes it would have been nice to get the third a lot earlier to kill it off completely but can’t have it all our own way, bar a couple of very good saves from the Blackburn ‘keeper we would have been 4-0 up with 20/25 mins to go.

That post probably comes across more negative than intended. Wasn’t moaning about the game.

I just think in previous years we were flat out, relentlessly going for goals whereas now we seem to look to control games a bit more and slow it down when we’re in the lead.

You’ve highlighted part of the (minor) issue though. We’re 2nd highest scorers but I believe we’re top for most chances missed. Of course when we create so much we’re going to have a higher number but it does feel like percentage wise, we fluff a large portion of chances we create.

Edit: I would also add, KM seems visibly more animated at times this season. Could see him early in the 2nd half trying to get the players up a bit because we’d started so slowly. Don’t think we’re playing quite how he wants us too either.

I enjoyed watching us as always do. But I wouldnt say it was a brand of football on display but rather a very professional battled effort and one we did really well at.

Agree strongly with this and your point re-composure in final third.

There were some lovely flowing moves without taking unnecessary risks. It isn't Joe Royle football but I wouldn't want it to be (as entertaining as that was at times).

Blimey. Come on Frimmers!

Am extremely comfortable 3-0 win. We were cruising all game bar 5 min spell in the second half.

Exciting attacking football with some great attacking patterns. The players' understanding grows every game.

We held Blackburn at arm's length with ease.

KM has not even been working with this group for 6 months yet and he's built another exciting side.

We're winning the league and will do so whilst half of the Johnny come latelys moan about Walton putting his foot on the ball as the spare man and playing out from the back (which we did today brilliantly btw). A bizarre season.

Walton was rock solid, bar a single pass which he was presumably confident Azor could deal with, and he could (but for being fouled).

All good.

Think its acceptable to enjoy a result. Accept it was an ugly game of football with some excellent passages of play involved mixed with some very terrible passes too.

I wouldn't call today a km branded football match it wasn't. But it was a high level championship battle required football match and that's all we needed.

I applaud your love for town but I dont agree that it was incredibly amazing and wonderful and Blackburn only had 5 minutes.

I do however agree that I didnt feel concerned about blackburn scoring.

I think that pass was an error of judgement, but all players make mistakes and more to the point, he got away with it.

If a midfielder only makes one bad pass in a game, he'd be the world's finest midfielder!

It felt like a really mixed bag of a game, some excellent stuff and some less than good but 3 nil is decent.

I know he is town royalty, and some won't hear criticism of him, but Mick Mills can find the negative in almost anything we do, and seems slow to compliment the good stuff.

We won 3-0, created 5 big chances, and Blackburn didn't have a single shot on target.

We will concede some chances, and make some mistakes, because it is football and thats how it works, but there seems a view from some of our support that we're lucky to get away with it. But that ignores the other key point about football, which is that teams miss more chances than they score.

We consistently create many more chances than we concede, and have the second best defence in the division, im really not sure what more people want to see!

He’s a right negative boring b*stard, who happens to have captained one of our greatest ever sides- I find it surprising he’s still employed in the role, tbh.
