25/26 Wrexham (League) Away Match Sales 'Profile'

The Wrexham League fixture has sold out during the 35+ Window (Tuesday, PM). The sales profile for the fixture therefore follows.

Summary:

The Club announced an allocation of 1293 tickets had been provided. The seatmap matched that.

- The Club retained a total of 186 seats for Club allocation, steward use and Ballot (anticipated 26 ballot, 160 other uses).

- There were 24 wheelchair / assistant seats.

- A total of 1107 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member Sales.

- All blocks went on sale from the first Window.

Per Window Sales:

- 1100 (99.37% of allocated seats) sold in the 40+ window.

- 7 (0.63% of allocated seats) seats sold in the 35+ window.

Points of Note:

* This is the first fixture where confirmed numbers were captured for the 40+ Window.

* There were a very small number of seats made it through to the 35+ window, suggesting the 1100 number should be a pretty decent reflection of the 40+ Member levels.

* 7 tickets is the lowest number of tickets that have been available at the beginning of a window so far this season (and the lowest sales per-window as a result).

* It's likely the next fixture for Sale will be the Wrexham Cup fixture, I suspect many who go to the league fixture will give the Cup a swerve, the allocation should be higher so the sales profile will be interesting.

Don't think the allocation will change at all - didn't Forest get the same amount as we got for the league game as they did for their 3rd Round tie.

I thought FA Cup was 25% minimum (if the the visiting team requests that many) unless there are 'safety concerns'?

EDIT: It's 15%, which would be 1890 allocation, slightly up.

I can't see the allocation being much higher if at all as said. However, availability for the 35 should be higher if many of those going for the league fixture don't fancy doing a back to back trip to wales which is a lengthy Journey

Either way, I cannot see the tickets reaching those in plus 30

Unfortunately, ‘safety concerns’ seem to be very widely drawn when convenient and have been used there as an excuse to limit Cup allocations before.

I don’t really see why ground restrictions should be the away fans’ problem. If you can’t increase the normal away segregated area to exactly 15%, you should be made to give the away fans a bigger area - not allowed to ignore the rules.

As a 39-pointer I'm not used to a ballot! Roughly when is it possible to put your name in?

There’s no suggestion here that any season ticket holders will be moved, which probably means they’re again not giving the 15%.

Take away maybe 50 tickets that would’ve gone on sale in Planet Blue as well.

Do we think that 40+ prior to this was just shy of 1,100? Seems unlikely to me so in theory there might have been a risk that somebody on 45+ didn't get a ticket.

The only real way to get a tentative metric on how many members are 45+ would be to look at the 35+ figures from 10 matches back, which puts us at Hull, with 577 sales at 35+.

If all those members continued to purchase for every match since, those 577 members are now on 45+.

There's unquantifiable impact caused by high-point members purchasing in lower windows, that cant be identified, nor any visibility of high-pointers missing the odd match, the above is about as best as can be acheived, IMO.

Yep I think you're right.

Wish the club would just be transparent in terms of the amount of people in each bracket.
