Two weeks in a row now nearly two defeats 17:06 - Jan 31 with 500 viewsMullet

That ref was a real lottery of a man, no one knew what he was gonna give, the last two pen ships were even more blatant.

Hirsts miss absolutely frightening, but how many more old school managers are going to shut us out this season? Once a season is fine, but I’m baffled people aren’t acknowledging the constant performance anxiety against teams who are supposedly a decade or more behind us in terms of style, management and personnel etc.

We simply don’t seem to change gears quick enough going forward and teams punish us for that if they can absorb it.

The tempo is awful. We actually play into the hands of the so called 'low block' by over-playing all over the pitch. We gave PNE all the time in the world to set and reset and our movement was predictable throughout.
Of course, people will wax lyrical about Jack Clarke but he made the pitch narrow far too often for me. Egeli is subdued and just ineffective out there.
Hirst's confidence is shot and unless Azon was injured, the half time change seems strange.
Cajùste just doesn't deliver any consistency. We didn't get the ball to Burns and we don't attack set pieces properly. Can't imagine Mariner, Beattie or Butcher allowing unchallenged headers from attacking corners.
Mehmeti was decent I thought and a few poor passes aside, Azor was too.
I hate to say this, but our style of football does not get me off my backside very often.

We've had some referees who've been a real joy to watch this season, some awful and some referees like today, who are just absolutely clueless.

Have no clue as to what he liked and didn't. Absolutely bizarre outcome of a game where you feel Ipswich have been toothless yet Preston players acting like they're stuck in a cage with a tiger.

Not a game to rewatch for anyone to be honest.

We're slow pondurus and can't and never have known how to break a low block down
Scary for a management team that's 4 years in not good enough,

McK has been clueless against unlocking the low block since Day One. Remember the games vs Cheltenham, Lincoln, Morecambe back in L1? Same shit different day

22/23 and 23/24 were brilliant where everything fell into place at the right place at the right time making him look like he had the Midas touch but the past season and now has been crap. With the budget he has he’s seriously underperforming and under delivering

We broke them down plenty today, we were just shocking in front of goal. And not for the first time. We missed two or three excellent chances.

Spot on other than there is no tempo. It's so boring to watch one pass forwards 3 back every time. No cutting edge, no invention.

Some people have been saying we need a number 10 more than a striker........

I cannot believe anyone with logic can say that. If we had a goalscorer we'd be at least 6 or 9 points better off I'm sure.
