I hope his driving has improved since ihs Ipswich days when he nearly drove me off the road near the training ground one day in his Rolls Royce, which was almost the total width of the road.

Would think the reason would be more because of last season, rather than anything to do with the Dan Neil signing.

Blades obviously not counting themselves out of the play off race. 11 points behind Wrexham. They've also signed a Sunderland defender on loan.

Surely they can't keep him and Bamford fit? That wouldn't be fair.

Once he joined City it was pretty obvious that he was out of his depth. When he came to us he was a show of the player he was at Leeds.
Like so many before him and no doubt in the future a young British player who promised so much and fell by the wayside.
It is my belief that so many of these young starlets over the years are too molly coddled. Don't have to clean the boots of senior players or sweep the changing room. They get vast wealth and it's nightclubs, gambling and the high life before they have even achieved anything.
If in a lower league like Hutchinson they immediately think they are better than what they are and off they go. A couple of seasons later when they have lost that glittering form that took them to the promised land they end up out of favour. Move on and become another statistic in the long line of failed British youngsters.

If you ever hear Lucy Ward, former head of education and welfare at Leeds United's academy speak about Phillips (as she has on various media outlets) that's not the impression you get.

He might have earnt a lot more than most of us at a young age, but he doesn't seem to have let it go to his head, those stupid shoes apart.
