Boro…is this there wobble? 11:18 - Feb 25 with 1600 viewsWestSussexBlue

Coventry, Oxford now Leicester. Two points from a possible Nine.
Is this there wobble happening? A tricky game at St Andrew’s up next. This feels like our time to turn the screw starting by another good performance and result on Saturday.

Reversion to the mean after winning six in a row perhaps. Before that run they didn't score for a few games. They are, perhaps, just differently inconsistent to us. I still have them as favourites of the top three to go up but I also haven't seen their flaws up close.

Totally agree on your second sentence, seven points from the next three at home should be the minimum although I would like nine because it's Stoke after that and, I think, the last time we won there Taricco got the winner.

If it's the game I'm thinking of I think that was at the old victoria ground!

Surely means we're well overdue a win there then.

Hopefully teams watched that coventry game and realised one way of hurting boro are balls over the top and set pieces. Looking their highlights of the two games. Last night Daka almost scored from what was just a literal hoof from the defence and boro didn;t deal with the high ball. It's definitely a weak point for them.

Boro seem quite similar to town in that If teams try to play football against them, they're fine. But play ugly against them they don't really deal with it as well.

They already had a wobble where they didn’t score for 4 games. No doubt they will drop more points, they have been pretty consistent though.

Coventry I have no idea if they’ve solved their poor form, or at least what rate they’ll be picking up points now.

Coventry have the same record as us and Hull over the past 5 games. Two wins, two losses and a draw. Boro are slightly better with two wins, one loss and two draws.

The top 2 is there for any team who can put a 6 or 7 wins run or form together.

Everything from August to March is form or blips. April/May is for wobbles which then turn into bottling.

If Hackney was missing for the same number of games that we have lost Jaden then they would drop like a stone imo.

Crucially we keep our goal difference better than theirs as it could be the difference. Currently a 5 goal difference and we have them to play at home.

They would have been expecting 6 points, or 4 at a minimum from those two at home, that's a big set back for them!

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Very good point, they have Town plus Wrexham away on the final day. If they need a positive goal swing come that point, it could be pivotal.
