| Tomorrow 22:26 - Mar 2 with 1331 views | FrimleyBlue | Am I the only one a little bit nervous about potentially going into the game without neil and mehmeti starting. Id love to be surprised and both do start. But I just cant see it for fitness reasons/time given on saturday My main thing is tho i hope nunez starts. Our task becomes a lot harder if he doesnt imo. | |

Taylor is a massive drop off yes imo. Absolutely different levels between them Not only neil with his ability to come and take the ball forward. But he reads the game alot better off the ball imo and we have two cms who read passes before they're played. With taylor hes a lovely lad. A solid champ cm. But cant say hes a top level champ cm. Mehmeti. Clarke. Very different players. Offer different things. But I feel relaxed with mehmeti. I always worry with clarke that hes gonna lose the ball on halfway. [Post edited 2 Mar 22:32]

Not nervous about the other two but we brought Neil off early too - will guess with a view to tomorrow rather than because he ran out of steam.

No reason why both don't start from the off tomorrow. If they dont, if things dont work out they will he introduced as needed. Believe!

Agree, Taylor did well when we he came on but easy when game is won. He doesn't really do it over the 90 for me. Mehmeti been playing all season so should be fine. Clarke off form last few games but will doubtless come good again soon. We won't get it but I feel a settled team of starters and finishers is now needed with perhaps an odd tactical tweak away from home. Start the Swansea 11 and go for the win, the old saying you ain't tired when you're winning is so true.

I think the issue with Clarke and not really actually an issue with him is that you lose the effectiveness of Davis when he plays. With Mehmeti cutting inside and Davis bombing down the wing almost constantly we looked far more threatening and far more "Ipswich". So whilst the drop off with Clarke himself isn't anything, it could be that the team dynamic isn't as good and Davis is stunted. We need more evidence to confirm that though. Very much looked like that Saturday, Davis had his best game for a long time, I thought Swansea were a half decent footballing side just lacking up top,
