Indeed, he's done nothing but give the ball away so far!

He looked totally off the pace, as did Mehmeti, Azon wasn't much fresher.
Probably why they were 'dropped' as some posters like to insist.

Mehmeti made the goal though with a great turn and drive into the box which sucked the hull defence to him.

Not saying he didn't. But apart from that, he was no where near Saturdays level.

Neil had a bit of a shocker tbh. Hard to explain when he was so good on Saturday!

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

That was a very difficult game to get into as a sub imo, having scored (and missed a golden chance to go two up) Hull went for it and were swarming forward, something we’d not experienced before in the game, so not only were the subs getting used to the pace Hull were playing with, the rest of the team were struggling to get the ball down under their press.

A very interesting game, given the two sides of Hull we saw, part Preston and part Coventry.

Agree and said the same myself..... trying to get into a game which had just gone up a couple of notches was an extremely difficult ask. Personally i think he is a regular nailed on starter but Taylor was also very good . When Azor doe eventually pick up that booking i think them two will still be an effective midfield.

Spotted Mehmeti getting his foot stamped on not long after he came on, think that’s why he was very slow, was limping for a while.

Did davis stand on something at one point too?

There was a moment when he was alone and I thought hed pulled something. He was fine after but it was a weird moment

I actually felt like we handed over a bit of the impetus when we took Nunez off midfield. Undoubtedly Hull were always going to give it a late go but I liked what he did a bit deeper in midfield - he gave us some real thrust.

Neil's performance exemplified by the ball cannoning off his face, spinning off the touchline and heading out in a totally different direction for a corner. Did make me laugh.

As others have said, the game state at that point was very difficult for the subs to adapt to, so we won't read too much into it!

Yes i really remember that one with Davis. Was about 10 mins from the end. Stood on one foot a couple of times and turned around and looked at the bench. After his recent knock i was very worried but as you say looked completely fine not long after thankfully.

Poll: Is it now time to sack Paul Cook?
