From a GK perspective he will never get blamed for that BUT it’s bounced up at a nice height and pretty savable, watch it from behind, it’s not in the corner at all.
When you have nothing to do in two games you want your number 1 to save that IMO.
I hate to say it because I love the bloke but I don’t particularly trust Walton as a shot stopper, a lot of the goals we concede don’t look that pretty. Probably an unpopular opinion I know. Would be curious to see how he’d fare in a team where he is called into action a lot more. Beatable keeper. | |

That’s why I don’t think Davis will ever be a top PL player as good as his engine is, switches off defensively. Great player but that part of his game is a problem. Agee about O’Shea, I’m nit picking about Walton obviously not the biggest problem, it was just savable IMO. So much of that game we didn’t have to leave to the ref! | |

I like Walton but whichever league we're in next season we need a stronger keeper, as well as a proper leader next to Matusiwa in the middle and another forward! |  |

Yeah, tbh if he was that decent, he’d have been be a clear number one for McKenna outside of the PL, he hasn’t been since League 1.
Good at claiming crosses, played really well against Cov at home, conceded some poor goals as well. Don’t have tones of confidence but it wad just an observation after seeing the goal from a different angle. | |

Its a,football forum....I dont think it does any harm to discuss the good and bad. I didnt think it was a foul personally but we didnt defend it very well!

goalies always get blamed if they conceed unfortunately. I dont think he was at fault for that, and he made a pretty good save 2nd half from memory that was low down, so I just think we switched off defensively, it was a great ball, knew we were in trouble the moment it dipped in.
as for the freekick, no it shouldnt have been, though Ive no issue if thats the standard applied to both sides in the game (it wasnt but thats another debate) but thats not why we conceeded there. | | | |
