Just got here! A few issues with availability, too early to say. Jaden not ready yet.

Always going to miss someone of Jaden's quality. After the weekend, another game to be rearranged so know how tough the schedule is going to be.

Sindre's fourth goal, all his goals have been big goals. Coventry, Blackburn, few 19-year-olds playing regular minutes. Has brought us very good things. Always going to be up and down with a player coming to England for the very first time. Will have more big moments before the end of the season.

Mark Robins gets the best out of his players, Stoke have played different systems over the last month or so. Not on a good run at the moment, but still there or thereabouts in most of their games and you can very quickly come out on the wrong side of them. Strong players, good manager and need to be ready for them.

Was a good game earlier in the season, was a test for both teams. Got an early goal but they made us work for it, have good athletes and good players. Had to work for it. Deserved to win, but felt it was a tough game to win. Are going to have to step up our level again.

Martyn Pert spoke to Kevin Friend, refereeing overseer, confirmation we should have had two penalties on Saturday.

Even out? We're going to need some good evidence for that over the next however many games. If you're not in VAR camp, can sound hypocritical, but sometimes so obvious, so was more disappointing than most. Can't afford that decision to drag on, about shofting mindset.

Maybe something can be done about Champ clubs progressing in FA Cup as Southampton and us now have busy schedule. Going to have a lot of games, tough games. That's to come, can only take each game as it comes.

Good time to play Stoke? Not necessarily, they had much the better chances away at Swansea. Sometimes playing a team that's struggling means they're more open or sometimes can double down. In our context doesn't impact difficulty. They're a good team, going to be desperate to get a result.

Will start planning for last month now in terms of selection etc? Will have to look at it, but in truth start on that at the start of the season. Does mean no game on Good Friday straight off the back of international break.

I’m getting a little concerned we aren’t going to see much of Jaden in the run in.

Yet Saturday's ref will continue to referee with pretty much zero consequences despite repeating the same mistakes in multiple games.

Maybe this is the FA's way of just pushing through VAR and other nonsense even quicker.

Been thinking the same thing. These type of injuries are always a concern especially when a player continues to have setbacks when trying to return.

Wonder who he's referring to.

Davis is an obvious one, he was obviously left out of the last midweek and doesn't look 100% to me. Hopefully the rest of the back four and Matty Sewer are OK to go again. Taylor in for Neil would bring some fresh legs in the middle. I'm expecting changes across the forward areas as we often see. Doubt Burns will start, so KM or SWE in. Clarke in from the start I presume, maybe Akpom in the 10 if its too much for Nunez or Mehmeti to go again. Hirst to start I think, he's probably due it.

With an international break coming up, then I suppose that that is now the target. Last week's updates seemed to imply that but it's been a while.

The bid for Azeez back in January was probably telling though.

I wonder how the table would look at the moment if Hackney had been out of the Boro team for a similar length of time?

Yeah, agree on Davis. He clearly is playing through something - would expect Greaves comes in.

….seems disconcertingly vague!

How many is “a few”? Definitely more than 2, probably more than 3.

I haven’t watched it back but I think I remember O’Shea and Furlong looking a bit troubled at times at the weekend, Davis obviously as you say.

We could really do without any problems at full back, we are woefully weak on both sides.

Looking from a totally “glass half empty” perspective the defence could look very different tomorrow.

Nunez was limping in the first half but played on.

O'Shea strikes me as the sort that would need something pretty bad to keep him out. Johnson for Furlong is an option, but not ideal.

Davis, Nunez, Mehmeti, Neil, Azon, Burns are the most likely to make way tomorrow I would think. I'd be surprised if as many as 3 of them start.

Even if the Ref were sanctioned, we don't get the points missed out on by their error.

Also the vagueness will hopefully be trying to disrupt Stoke's preparation.

Not that our system changes very much.

I really reject this notion that the only alternative to diabolical referees is VAR. It seems to me that's all we hear now, 'well if you want the referee to get blindingly obvious decisions right we must need VAR'.

Balls to that, we should be able to expect referees to get big calls right without VAR.
