Take away the manic language in the style of an angry teenager, there is a valid point in what Trump is saying. The internet is being flooded with AI images of dead USA servicemen, US navy ships on fire, hundreds of. US servicemen being captured by the IRG.
That’s no different to the broadcasts by Lord Haw Haw aimed aimed at demoralising UK and American families during the second world war by saying that their relatives were being killed in Europe and that the allies were losing the war.
America is at war. Regardless of whether people believe the rights of wrongs of the war, if these AI images are being produced of shared by US citizens in order to demoralise the US public then that is as much treason as the Lord haw haw broadcasts.

If broadcasters air something that is incorrect they should be challenged on that by the regulator and the correct actions taken. They shouldn't be threatened with losing their licence by the administration. It should be a totally independent process.

It’s very easy to conform either way. All the major western media outlets including Sky, BBC are reporting from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Israel has a free press including the left leaning Haaretz.

Given he is so far down the social media rabbit hole, it sounds like he watches the fake AI images himself, and maybe to some extent this affects his grip on reality.
Today he mentioned he had seen the fake video of the US aircraft carrier on fire and phoned up an admiral to check that it was not true.

I made my view very clear about a trump and his administration glorifying war.
But I’m not anti war. I’ve never said that. Sometimes war is necessary and justified. I’m not a pacifist. But it’s not a game and it should never be trivialised or glorified. I didn’t support this war because I said from the start it was counterproductive. But nice the started hitting regime targets I did hope that the regime would fall and the people of Iran could be free.
As for the definition of treason. Generating and sharing fake AI videos and images of dead or captured US troops and US warships on fire most certainly meets the definition you set out.
