I was just thinking, considering the Portsmouth pitch has supposedly resembled a swimming pool a few times this season, it looks in good shape tonight.
IMO Portsmouth will set up for a draw against us whatever they do tonight. Derby only have Coventry out of the top six to play, albeit they also have to go to Southampton. Portsmouth still have to go to Middlesbrough (before playing us) and Coventry (after).
If safety is ensured by beating Middlesbrough, that would probably be the best solution. |  |
