Norwich is the best place to live in the UK.

Manningtree is the best place in the east of UK.

I'm confused, is Norwich not in the East of the UK?

No, it’s in the inner depths of hell which is apparently quite desirable these days. Not sure about the schools though.

I did wonder why it's always so lovely and warm here.

Norwich was the overall winner, so guess Manningtree just seen as the regional winner in order to hand out another gong

While I haven’t lived in lots of places in the UK to make a complete comparison I have to say after 50-ish years of living in or around Norwich it is a nice place to be. Obviously, pity about the ‘football club’ and some of the six-fingered residents but hey-ho, you win a Fat Cat and lose an empty trophy cabinet.

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Maybe they meant Norwich Road in Ipswich?

Actually thinking about it, probably not.

Yes so I’ve seen but I’ve never been in one in Norwich.

I usually have a couple in the pub closest to the market or The Gardeners Arms.
