That's a good point.

We were holding on during the last ten minutes and never looked like scoring ourselves. They should feel disappointed they didn't nick it.

The team we had out at the end was so much inferior to what we'd have on the pitch at full strength. 1-1 at home and wanting to push for a winner - I don't think McKenna settled for a point by the way - and to have so many names either unavailable full stop or having come off to save legs, was a big shame.

But that's the reason it's a good point. Full strength I think we win that game.

Even without those players our spend and value of players on the pitch was multiples of Millwall’s. There’s little point having a big expensive squad if we are saying we are weak without our first 11.

I’d go as far to say 1m Kayden Jackson had far more contribution to our last championship than 11m McAteer for example.

Have you got the official "go and piss on any signs of positivity" role post game today? You're popping up all over the place to dismiss any positives people might have to share.

The squad value argument is pointless in my opinion.

Does anyone think SWE is worth £17m? No. McAteer £12? No. But they are who we've got. Relative to our usual squad, and what we know about our options, we were severely under strength today.

Those conversations around budget and how we've spent it is for after the season in my view.

A game that should have been won in first half but equally we should have lost in the second.

I think holding on is massively overly playing but understandable as it's a bit nervy defending corners from Millwall. For me they had one big chance they should have scored.

Equally we were a threat as well. Still can't get over how poor Taylors pass was. Easier ball to Clarke or just why underhit it so woefully to Akpom. We had quite a few good chances. Neil was unlucky with deflected shot and I thought we should have put on of Clarke, Mehmeti, Azon cut in and shoots in the far corner.

I would say we bosses the first half and the second half was just a pretty even one.

Millwall aren't even a great team, you can see where they are in the table as a result of them being a thuggish team who bullies the opposition.

We threw 2 points away because it seems that at present we can only play for 45 mins, either the first half or second but fail to put in a decent performance for the whole 90. Plus the lack of a decent striker/finisher bar Clarke.

Plus McK subs are baffling, why move Clarke out of his favoured position where he was tearing the Millwall left to bits just to accommodate a half-fit Philogene? Alex Neil switched to 2 up front in the second half, do we even see McK trying to change formation to salvage the game?

We played well first half but the result was poor for us, I’m not going to lie about that fact. People saying it’s a good point in the moment are simply wrong.
