They haven't lost a league games in four months.

Eighteen points clear of Bolton in 3rd.

Seven games left to play.

I think they might be going up.

I think they are 1 or 2 games within going up anyway. I'm always surprised that given their successes over tge last few years that they haven't expanded the ground given the size of the city and how ridiculously small their main stand is.

The club have never been particularly well backed financially, they don't have the sort of ownership who can put the sort of money in that a major ground redevelopment would need.

Stevanage firm in the play off positions! Now that would be a Championship story! Stevanage at home to Spurs, first day of the season!

Argyle seemed to have turned around their season in league one, bottom at one point, now just outside play offs and on quite a run.

I’ve never seen them live. I may not next year against us either, although there’s a 50/50 I’ll see them over here against the Swans. They’ve been on a stunning run to charge away at the top, with Cardiff looking the most likely Champions at one point.

Runs. It’s all about runs, which is where we’ve fallen down this season.

They have been relentless. Clearly they have some excellent players.

Don't know much about Skubala, but he seems to be a real talent, for a new ish manager.

I wonder if he is anywhere near the shortlist, for when KM does leave.

Think he has a background in futsal which indicates that he appreciates the technical side of things.

According to google he likes to play aggressive attacking football but apart from that I know nothing about him - other that he’s doing a fantastic job there.

I work with a lot of Lincoln fans, have a lot of time for them, not that many years ago they were mid table conference so been on an upward journey since the cowleys really. They d be up by now if Bolton had nt spent a few games recently getting last minute goals. Don't think it's rocket science what they ve done. Give a young ambitious manager time, realistic expectations from fans and allow him to mould a squad and way of playing. Sold a few players but reinvested it all (and more but not excessively for today's world) and it's paid off this season. What they do is effective and everyone knows their jobs, lots of long throws, direct, strong etc - all probable kryptonite for us ! Been lucky with injuries and lack of suspensions, loan players that have come in have made a difference,a few experienced pros from the champ and it's all gelled. Probably been underestimated by the bigger clubs in the league, won't matter now. Refreshing that the biggest club/ budget doesn't win the league every year.

An intersting post. As it happens as was at the game vs Rotherham on Saturday. My reason for being there was that my two grandsons are on Lincoln academy's books. One is 12 and one is eight. They are both goalkeepers and it was the 8 year olds first main game for the Imps youngsters.

In regards to the game against Rotherfham it was like going back 20 years, the ground was packed, Lincoln's support was fantastic, the football was good even the ref had a good game.

They will need to improve the ground when they get to the championship. It's a bit dated now. But I hope they don't lose what they have now.

As for my grandsons fist game he came up against a very good Sheff Weds under nine team. They were very good..bit too good for Lincoln. But he made some good saves.
